Founded in 2005, IRIS's founders and engineers invented a high resolution optical element based on a technology using single crystals. The patented single-crystal Thallium-doped Cesium Iodide [CsI(Tl)] scintillator allows for outstanding spatial resolution and image brightness unmatched in the industry.

This technology is used in our 3D x-ray and 2D x-ray digital microscopes for a variety of applications including life science, biotech, welding, semiconductor, disassembly, core analysis, soft tissue imaging, pharmaceutical, automative and many other internal structures.
